Effective Date: August 25, 2026
Last Updated: August 25, 2026

VAE is committed to creating a safe, respectful, and trustworthy marketplace for Venue Owners, Audience members, and Entertainers.

Our Commitment

VAE is committed to creating a safe, respectful, and trustworthy marketplace for Venue Owners, Audience members, and Entertainers.

Our Platform is designed to help people discover entertainment opportunities, communicate, coordinate bookings, and complete marketplace transactions with greater transparency, security, and confidence.

Identity & Marketplace Verification

VAE may require certain Users, including Entertainers and Venue Owners, to complete identity or business verification before receiving full access to marketplace features.

Verification may include submitting identification or other documentation reasonably necessary to confirm a User's identity, business, venue, or eligibility to participate in the marketplace.

Verification does not constitute an endorsement, guarantee, background check, or certification that a User will be appropriate for any particular booking or interaction.

Users remain responsible for exercising reasonable judgment when communicating, meeting, booking, or conducting business with other members of the VAE community.

Security of Personal Information

We take the privacy and security of User information seriously.

Personal information provided through VAE is handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy and is used only as necessary to operate, secure, and improve the VAE marketplace.

Certain information, such as private account details, payment information, precise location information, and identity-verification materials, is subject to additional safeguards and is not intended to be publicly displayed unless specifically described otherwise in our Privacy Policy.

Payment card information is processed through our third-party payment provider and is not stored directly by VAE.

Community Safety, Reporting & Blocking

Everyone using VAE is expected to treat others professionally and respectfully.

Harassment, threats, discrimination, fraud, impersonation, exploitation, abusive behavior, illegal activity, and other conduct that places members of the community at risk are not permitted on the Platform.

VAE may investigate reported conduct and take appropriate action when Users violate our Terms of Service, Community Standards, or other marketplace policies.

Depending on the circumstances, actions may include limiting access to certain features, removing content, suspending an account, or permanently removing a User from the Platform.

VAE provides tools intended to help Users manage unwanted or inappropriate interactions.

Users may report content, communications, accounts, or marketplace activity that they believe violates VAE's policies or presents a safety concern.

Users may also block other Users to prevent or limit future interaction through the Platform.

Reports may be reviewed by VAE, and we may request additional information when reasonably necessary to investigate a concern.

Marketplace Responsibility

VAE provides technology that helps Users discover one another, communicate, arrange bookings, and process marketplace transactions.

VAE does not control the conduct of Users outside of the Platform and cannot guarantee the quality, safety, legality, suitability, availability, or performance of any Entertainer, venue, event host, Audience member, or other marketplace participant.

Users are responsible for evaluating opportunities and other Users before entering into a booking or attending an in-person interaction.

Additional responsibilities and limitations are described in our Terms of Service and applicable marketplace policies.

Payment & Booking Concerns

If an issue arises involving a booking, payment, cancellation, refund, or other marketplace transaction, Users should contact VAE Support and provide any relevant information or documentation.

Payment transactions are processed through third-party payment providers and may also be subject to their terms, requirements, dispute procedures, and processing timelines.

Additional information is available in VAE's Payment Policy and Cancellation & Refund Policy.

Dispute Resolution & Support

If an issue arises from a booking or interaction arranged through VAE, Users should first make a reasonable effort to resolve the matter directly with the other party when it is safe and appropriate to do so.

If the issue cannot be resolved, Users may contact VAE Support regarding matters such as:

booking disputes, cancellations, payment or invoice concerns, refunds, property damage, injuries, suspected fraud, or other marketplace-related concerns.

VAE may request relevant information or documentation to help review the matter, including booking details, messages, photographs, receipts, invoices, payment records, or other supporting materials.

VAE may review information available through the Platform and take actions permitted under our Terms of Service and applicable policies.

Depending on the nature of the matter, VAE may also direct Users to the appropriate payment provider, insurance provider, law-enforcement agency, emergency service, or other third party.

Payment disputes, refunds, and chargebacks may also be subject to the procedures and requirements of VAE's third-party payment processor.
