Accurate Availability
VAE users are responsible for maintaining accurate availability and honoring confirmed booking times.
Entertainers and Venue Owners must keep their availability calendars reasonably accurate. Customers should treat available times shown on VAE as available for booking unless otherwise communicated before confirmation.
Booking Conflicts
Users should avoid accepting bookings that conflict with existing commitments.
Rescheduling
A confirmed booking may be rescheduled only when both booking participants affirmatively approve the new date and time. Proposing a new date or time does not, by itself, change the booking.
The original booking terms remain in effect until both participants approve the reschedule. If the other participant declines the proposal, the original booking remains in effect. If the proposal expires or receives no response, the original booking remains in effect unless it is otherwise cancelled under the applicable Cancellation Policy.
Users should communicate scheduling conflicts as soon as possible and, when practical, attempt to reschedule rather than cancel.
Cancellation Policy Interaction
Rescheduling may not be used to avoid VAE's Cancellation Policy or applicable cancellation fees.
If the parties cannot agree on a new time, the booking may be cancelled and VAE's applicable Cancellation Policy will apply.
Misuse & Enforcement
Repeated or excessive rescheduling, inaccurate availability, or misuse of the scheduling system may result in booking restrictions, account suspension, or deactivation.
This policy supplements VAE's Terms of Service and may be updated from time to time.
